The Truck Visit Appointment form enables you to associate a truck visit appointment to the selected transaction appointment. You can associate only one truck visit appointment with a transaction appointment. To associate another truck visit appointment with a transaction appointment that is already associated with a truck visit appointment, you must first dissociate the existing truck visit appointment (on page 1).

Before you begin:

• If you want N4 to update the appointment time for the associated container when you associate the transaction appointment with a truck visit appointment instead of when you initially added or updated a transaction appointment, you must set the ROADAPPOINTMENT002 (APPT_TIME_ON_TV_ATTACH) (on page 1) setting as true. In this case, N4 updates the following fields with the appointment time, which is the start time of the selected time slot:

• In N4, the Appt Time field in the Units view and the Unit Inspector.

• In XPS, the Appt Hour and Appntmnt fields.

To associate a truck visit appointment:

1. From the Truck Visit Appointment drop-down list, select the appropriate truck visit appointment.

The drop-down list displays truck visit appointments that are in the Created state and are for the same gate as the transaction appointment.

2. Click Save.
